India Hughes is a visual development and storyboard artist based in Los Angeles. She is currently completing her BFA in Animation & Visual Effects at the Academy of Art University, where her emphasis is in storyboarding — though she found and fell for visual development along the way.
While studying, India has been working in brand marketing, a background that lends itself to her sense of pacing, emotional clarity, and story intent in her work.
Outside of drawing, she’s usually doing improv, exploring new corners of LA, or at industry events like LightBox Expo.
